I am proud to share this significant milestone in ING-GRAD’s business journey. With the publication of the Prospectus and the Public Call for Share Subscription, we have embarked on the process of an initial public offering, opening a new chapter in our company’s history. This chapter is also a natural step for our company, which has operated successfully and steadily for 40 years. Through the restoration of cultural heritage, we preserve our rich history. We lay the foundations for the future with modern energy and infrastructure projects, while residential and public building projects shape the entire social community. I am particularly proud that a company that started as a family business has achieved all this. Our story is, therefore, also a story of resilience and growth. We have successfully navigated the global recession, the pandemic, and the challenges of workforce emigration. Not only have we endured, but we have also grown and advanced, becoming one of Croatia’s top five construction companies and undoubtedly one of the most enduring.
Our strength does not lie in concrete and steel but in people. The success of ING-GRAD is built on the expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm of our employees, as well as the support and trust of our subcontractors, suppliers, and other partners. Without them, none of our achievements would have been possible. That is why our stock exchange listing is an opportunity for all of us to embark on a new phase of our journey together. We aim to enable our colleagues to become owners of the company that already bears their mark. We also express gratitude for the trust, knowledge, and effort they have contributed to our shared success. I believe that our growth, reliability, stability, and commitment to high standards of quality and sustainability will be recognized by many other future shareholders, institutional investors, and citizens, whom we also aim to offer long-term value through this investment opportunity. Our vision remains clear. We must build buildings and infrastructure responsibly and professionally to create a safer, more prosperous future for all of us.
We can achieve this together within the construction sector, which has the potential to remain a key driver of economic growth and even Croatia’s demographic revitalization. This is evident in the goals of Croatia’s Demographic Revitalization Strategy, which includes significant investments in construction, the continued support of EU funding, and new public and private projects focused on energy efficiency. With our experience and expertise in all these areas and our planned investments in new sectors, I firmly believe that ING-GRAD, with the entire Croatian construction sector, can be a pillar of Croatia’s economy.
Siguran sam da to i možemo, u okviru građevinskog sektora koji ima potencijal nastaviti biti ključni pokretač gospodarskog rasta pa čak i demografske revitalizacije Hrvatske. Vidljivo je to i u ciljevima Strategije demografske revitalizacije Hrvatske koja uključuje značajna ulaganja upravo i u građevinu, zatim očekivani nastavak EU financiranja, kao i nove javne i privatne projekte usmjerene na energetsku učinkovitost. Uz naše iskustvo i znanja u svim navedenim područjima, kao i naša planirana ulaganja u nova područja čvrsto vjerujem kako ING-GRAD i hrvatska građevina u cjelini mogu biti stup hrvatskog gospodarstva.
